Stanley residents – Please check your shed security.

Dear Resident,

Over the last two days, there has been an attempt shed break in on Noon Close and a motorcycle was stolen following a shed burglary on Ash Crescent. 

Please take a moment to check your shed security.

 Top Tips to Protect Your Shed: 

• Use coach bolts on hinges and hasps – they can’t be unscrewed from outside 

• Fit a closed‑shackle heavy‑duty padlock (Sold Secure recommended) 

• Consider a standalone/battery sensor alarm 

• Block shed windows so valuables aren’t visible 

• Lock big items together to make them harder to remove 

• Security‑mark your property to help get it back if stolen
